Thousands of Wickendens have descended from the original family of Wicken, named after the den they established in Cowden, Kent, England around 600-700 CE.  Wickendens from England, Europe, North and South America, Australia and from all other countries around the world are invited to contribute information to this page, or to provide a link here to their own family trees, memoirs, or websites.  

Please include a brief description of 

  • when and from what location in England your family emigrated to another country, as well as information on
  • the branch of Wickendens from which your family has descended and 
  • the number of generations for which your family has been settled in another country.
